The Heckler & Koch USP.45 is a pistol featured in Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction and Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist, and is available for use by the player.

Conviction Edit

"Powerful and accurate at medium ranges, the USP.45 is one of the most trustworthy sidearms."

The USP.45 is the last pistol unlocked in story mode, available after you complete the Lincoln Memorial mission, where it is the pistol used to kill Lucius Galliard. Unlike it's larger sibling, the MK.23, the USP.45 is not equipped with a suppressor. The weapon is overall very balanced without any upgrades; with all of them, the USP.45 is statistically a more powerful, slightly lower capacity P228, with all other stats being nearly identical. However, the stats do not correctly reflect it's performance as actually, the gun is far less accurate at range than the P228 and has shorter range for mark and execute. It is best used in close-quarters combat. The "Hollow Point" upgrade will also make the USP one of the three pistols able to kill helmet-wearing enemies in one shot. With the Reflex Sight the USP.45 can mark 3 targets, but at a fairly limited range.

Asides from not being suppressed, the USP has a moderate magazine capacity of 12 rounds, easily outmatched by the other pistols in the game, bar the Desert Eagle, although as pistols have unlimited reloads in Conviction this is ultimately not too big of an issue.

Upgrades Edit

Laser Sight Edit

Increases the accuracy of a weapon and improves aiming assistance. (250 P.E.C. Points)

Reflex Sight Edit

Increases marks by 1. (400 P.E.C. Points)

Hollow Point Ammo Edit

Slightly increases damage per bullet. (250 P.E.C. Points)

The USP.45 is available in Blacklist as part of the "High Power" DLC pack.

The pistol's overall performance is on-par with the Five-seveN. While its main stats (damage, accuracy, etc.) improve upon the latter by a slight margin, the USP.45 is held back by its 12-round magazine capacity, in comparison to the latter's 20. It is also possible to remove the suppressor.
