Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Extended Ops is a mobile game for early 2000s phones developed by Gameloft and released in 2003. The story is strange when compared to other Tom Clancy endorsed media, as corrupt members of the Russian Kremlin are intent on causing earthquakes with a new form of Weapon of Mass Destruction. Unlike other titles in the series, the events seem to only take place in one location rather than multiple sites from around the globe. This is likely due to storage limits, as it was a mobile phone game for flip-phones and brick-phones.
Not much is known about the title, since it was not well known and hasn't been re-released since. However there appears to be two separate versions, likely dependant of which model of phone that you owned (I.E. : 128 * 128 screen size and 128 * 160 screen size, the former of which appearing to be 8-bit while the latter 16-bit).
The game itself consists of six missions :
- Perimeter Defense
- Outer Facility
- Underground Laboratory
