Charlie Fryman was a Third Echelon lab technician who appeared in Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction.

Biography[]

2011: Third Echelon Conspiracy[]

Fryman was an inside contact for Anna Grímsdóttir at Third Echelon Headquarters. He agreed to help Sam Fisher by providing him with a pair of Sonar Goggles that were configured to detect security system laser beams. He further explains that once the security system beams in Third Echelon are triggered, automatic gun turrets will target the intruder. Fryman further adds that he wrote the algorithm for the automatic gun turret defense system as well. Its not known what his ultimate fate is as the guards will not shoot him, Fisher cannot attack him as well. Even if he survived the event in Conviction, he does not join Fourth Echelon command by Fisher himself.

Profile[]

Not much is known about Fryman, but he seems to be very knowledgeable judging by how he was able to calibrate the Sonar Goggles to see laser security systems and was able to write the algorithm for the security turrets.

Trivia[]

  • Despite not being shown fleeing Third Echelon Headquarters, it is likely that Fryman was able to escape the building before it was totally destroyed by protocol 2319.
  • Fryman shares the same first name as Fourth Echelon member Charlie Cole. They both are similar in that they design prototype technology and are very tech savvy.
