Adding quote transcripts from the game.
I started doing a little project for the WIKI, the first mission of Splinter Cell, the training. I have added a whole transcript of the lines used in radio interaction with the NPCs and in game cutscene. I hope all missions will have the same thing to make it interesting. Some other wikia are involved with that idea as well, so I thought splinter cell should have its own.

Canon vs Non-Canon
Some time ago, I added in a Retcon page as there are some large discrepancies in the lore within the Splinter Cell universe, such as the formation of Third Echelon or Sarah's death. Some of the story in the games are largely unknown, especially when there is choice involved (although there are canon confirmations for games like Double Agent, and in some cases in Conviction).
Should we place unconfirmed or - what may be non-canon - in sub-sections that notify the reader that the information is non-canon, or is unconfirmed? Things like the iPhone game for Splinter Cell: Conviction, which has a drastically different storyline compared to console version, for example could be placed in a seperate page, perhaps, explaining that it's non-canon.
Should …
The protagonist of the eighth Splinter Cell
I hate to say it, but Sam seems to be getting a little old for being the awesome vigilante he is in Blacklist. I just think that soon he might not be able to do what he does best. So Ubisoft is probably going to need a character who can carry on the series. Who will it be, here's some theories I had in mind.
Keep Sam: Ubisoft keeps Sam as the protagonist. In the series, Sam leads Fourth Echelon to becoming a powerful force, even more powerful than its predecessor, in America and also worldwide. 4E trains new agents to engage in its operations. With it's existence in denial, Sam can continue to lead Fourth Echelon to achieving its goal. But as we all know, between the lines, something will happen that Sam himself must deal with head on.

Mission Overviews and Details... or a Walkthrough?
Hey guys!
As you know, we've been trying to revise this wiki and clean it up as best as we can. I have an idea on how we can write missions, however I would love the input from the community first, of course, before we decide anything. This is regarding our mission article structure. In our article pages at the moment, and how they (somewhat) were before, we simply give a summary of the mission through a couple of paragraphs. This seems almost vague to me, and I don't think it feels that detailed - especially for certain missions like the Chinese Embassy. It can also lead to some repetition explaining things, as I've noticed it more as I give summaries.
I was curious if anybody wants to do something else. Before, I had the idea of developing…
Converted from 'Comment' to 'Talk' pages
Hey guys!
I've decided to change the 'comments' to now just be 'talk' pages like many other wikias do. This is because of some requests on the Community Noticeboard. The main reason I want this is because the comment section just looks like a mess of random comments and vulgar posts, this is in hopes of keeping things looking professional.
Please let me know what you think, if you agree or disagree!
I intend to Adopt this wiki. :)
Hello!
My name is Jamin .·. and intend to adopt this Wiki and become the Admin! This wiki has been very informative and it has been fun building on all things Splinter Cell to further improve this Wiki, but I think it needs more work! I would love to help clean it up and make it presentable. Working together with the community here, I believe we can make this so and I understand the responsibility that this brings.
In order for me to adopt this wiki, I need supporters and input on this decision. I'd love to hear your thoughts and comments on this, and hope to revise and improve this Wiki in the future.

In-universe style of writing
Starting now, articles about characters or events in the Splinter Cell Wiki would ideally be written according to "in-universe" style (writing as if the character or event was actually real) except where it would be inappropriate (in the case of articles that describe things outside of the Splinter Cell universe or describe metagame elements of the Splinter Cell universe).
Splinter Cell Blacklist Review Roundup
It's been three years since Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction arrived, scoring in the mid 80s with critics and generally living up to fans' expectations. Can the latest entry live up to the series' strong reputation?
Check out the critical response below and let us know your thoughts in the comments section!
Blacklist has received no negative reviews as of yet.
Reason of Sam's voice actor change
The director of SCBL today announced why Ubisoft decided to replace veteran actors like Ironside with the new actor, Eric. They said that on the previous titles, the voice, the action of the face, and the body moves were all performed by three actors separately. When it came to Blacklist, they decided to put one actor for the performance capture, which captures the voice, the body moves, AND the facial expressions. They found Eric with Sam's physical ability.
I don't know the reason behind Grímsdóttir's voice actor change. Only a line is mentioned here: http://m.ign.com/articles/2013/07/11/why-ubisoft-changed-sam-fishers-voice
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist at E3
of THIS year. This is definitely a game I'm investing in, despite a 30 minute demo being the difference between my complete naivity of the game and my admiration of it. What are your current thoughts of the game, and will you be picking up a copy upon release?
Not Worried Are You?
I am surprised by lack of response in my last Blog. Surley you Splinter Cell fans aren't afraid or worried of those MGS Fanboys are you? I would hopefully hope not. Do you realize how long I've helped defend this game franchise against those MGS Fanboys. It's been going on for months now. I thought you would like to know how they are dissing Splinter Cell.
I just thought you wanted to know. I would like to know what you think about. Even now on that one video page they're still laughing and mocking Splinter Cell. I assumed that guys wanted a little pay back. I know I would.
But as I stated in my previous blog that it's your choice I'm not forcing you or goading you I thought you would like to give what you think about MGS series. I know some…
MGS Fanboys Hating Splinter Cell
I'm sure the title of this blog mean one thing. I'm sure you know That' like MGS series but I like Splinter Cell ever more now. But That's what I came talk about. I'll make this brief. On Youtube my user name is also Gekkou25. And I was on a Video Web Video owned by VideoGameMusicCenter. Called Here's To You. A couple of months ago I posted on that commend board expressing my view on MGS series a little overrated. And what started a friendly POV on why I think MGS maybe a alittle overrated turned into in all out hate war against me.
I think I for everyone on this blog that we are getting alittle sick and tired of the MGS Fanbase disrespecting every other game franchise and calling all other game franchise shit compared to the MGS series.…
How Double Agent should have been
I'm not going to go into all the problems with Double Agent, but long story short it seemed half complete, haphazardly told, and the few moral choices (especially the last one) felt forced. It had the best premise of the series thus far (I haven't played Conviction, SO NO SPOILERS!!!!), yet was worse than its predecessors. I've only played Version 1 (X-Box 360) but I do know a bit about Version 2 (X-Box). I will be going more by Version 1, though. So without further ado, here's a "brief" overview of how I think Double Agent should have been.
First, a bit of characterization is needed in order for the story to work. I see Sam as a very jaded individual, and this was long before Sarah was killed. Early in Pandora Tomorrow, Sam out of nowhere …
Some one New
Is it time they got some one new and retired Sam Fisher I'm not saying Sam isn't great or any thing I'm just asking I wanted to know want if they got a younger guy to do it cause Sam was very cold but thought it would be a good idea that they got this young guy who has a moral dilemma on things and how they are handled you know well its just a thought give me some feed back on what you guys think
Splinter Cell FanFiction Wiki?
Ok, my basic idea is to start a Splinter Cell Fan Fiction Wiki, where users can basicly add whatever they want (like guns, characters, groups, etc.)
I thought that it would just be fun idea,

What about the multiplayer?
It seems like the Multiplayer sections have died (or have been) for the Splinter Cell games. Can anyone find some picture, since there are alot of them on the internet.

Third Echelon Map
Hiya people!
For those who don't know yet, http://gamespot.com offers free map codes for the Third Echelon map for Conviction! So have one now you still can!
Though, if you don't live in the UK/USA like me, and you still want the code, you may use a different way:
http://www.aftonbladet.se/nojesbladet/article7112533.ab In the box next to the article, choose: Xbox 360-spelare, klicka här! OR PC-spelare, klicka här! (first, xbox 360; second PC).
Enjoy the map!
Next Splinter Cell?
Well it seems as though Splinter Cell might have ended in Conviction, but it seems as though Sam is attempting to rescue Victor, but with the President knowing that Third Echelon is no longer stable and knowing that Sam is innocent (as long as we all agree that Sam allowing the nuclear bomb to explode is 100% non canon) might attempt to clear his name or something. Sam is getting rather old, and he seems to be in his fifties, so is it possible for a new Splinter Cell to come out, and if so anyone got any ideas?
GameCube Splinter Cell
I've noticed the gamecube version of Splinter Cell has a mix between Xbox and PS2. It has Wilkes being shot by a mercenary on top of the Kalinatek building but doesn't have the nuclear power plant level between Kalinatek and the Chinese Embassy.
Old Conviction Plan
Please tell me I'm not the only person who thinks that the old plan for Conviction is was better than what Conviction is now!LoftierSiren 23:57, May 10, 2010 (UTC)LoftierSiren
