Alejandro Takfir is a character who appears in Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent.
Version 1
Little is known about Takfir, though he is presumed to be the right hand man Massoud Ibn Yussif and he is JBA ally who is bankrolling Emile's, Massoud's, and his own plans to bomb three major cities. The three met in the war-torn city of Kinshasa to plan the detonation of three Red Mercury devices in New York City, Mexico City, and Los Angeles. After Sam Fisher was able to prevent the detonation of the Red Mercury devices in New York, Massoud and presumably Takfir as well were arrested.
Version 2
Takfir sends his men to capture a shipment of Red Mercury from arms dealer Raheem Kadir in Iceland. He later acquires a bunker that is owned by the rebel faction in Kinshasa to store and produce more Red Mercury devices. He later sells multiple Red Mercury devices to Emile Dufraisne and Massoud Ibn Yussif during a meeting in Kinshasa, in which to the two aforementioned men conspired to detonate the devices in Los Angeles and New York City. The bunker that Takfir used was later sabotaged by a splinter cell double team. Unlike Version 1, it is not specified what became of Takfir.
Trivia
- Takfir owns a hotel in Kinshasa, Democatic Republic of Congo. Despite crude appearance and being damaged by firefight, he has a meeting room with a lot of security measures.
- His presumably allied with the rebels that fights the government troops.
- His apperance is different in both versions of the game. Version 2 depicts him as being more older, and sporting facial hair.
