The third unidentified Agent was a Splinter Cell agent that worked for Third Echelon during the Red Mercury Plot in 2008.

Biography

2008: JBA Crisis

The Splinter Cell was ordered by Third Echelon Director Lawrence Williams to kill the members of the terrorist organization, John Brown's Army, during the New York attack on December 20, 2008. As he was hidden, he saw Enrica Villablanca (Version 2) run across the rooftops where Sam Fisher was located. He shot and killed her from the distance as Sam Fisher held her body. Afterwards, the Splinter Cell walked across the rooftops checking the area only to have Fisher ambush him from below the snow. Fisher grabbed him and slit his throat, killing him.

Trivia

• The Splinter Cell appears in Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent (Version 2), where he kills Villablanca in a cutscene. In Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent (Version 1), her fate is up to the player's choice and the Splinter Cell doesn't appear.
• This Splinter Cell wears blue goggles similar to Agent One. However, the two are not the same as the Tanker On The Way mission in co-op takes place as the same time as the New York mission in solo.
